GoWild Casino is one of my lowest ranking online casinos, currently ranked at #30. This well-known casino first opened in 2008, and it was instantly a hit with players. However, the casino went down-hill over the following years, and it obtained a bad reputation. In more recent times, however, the operator has made some changes and improved what was regarded by many as a bad online casino.

There is a live chat feature available here, but this is sometimes slow to respond, and there’s also no toll-free telephone support for Canadian players. First of all, you can see a couple of things that I like about Go Wild Casino, and then I will be taking a look at some of the downsides to the casino.
One of the things that I do like about GoWild Casino is the vast selection of games that can now be found here. GoWild has games from some of my favourite online casino software providers, and they have some of the biggest-named games here (Book of Dead, Gonzo’s Quest, Wolf Gold, Lara Croft: Temples & Tombs, Mega Moolah, Basic Instinct and Great Rhino, to mention just a few).
This casino also runs daily, weekly and monthly promotions where you can win casino bonuses and real-world prizes. There’s the Mystery Game promo, the Game of the Week promo and the Promo Booster.
Any bonus money that you receive from a matching deposit bonus must be wagered at least 35x times before you can start the withdrawal process.
In the past, GoWild Casino has been known for having confusing/misleading bonus terms and conditions. Some well-known online casino review sites have even gone as far as to blacklist this casino. At one point, the operator made it hard for the player to actually win because of these annoying T’s & C’s.
The misleading T’s & C’s also led to many complaints being lodged by players. GoWild Casino seems to get a lot more complaints than many other online casinos.
There’s no toll-free telephone support at GoWild Casino, but you can use the live chat feature when you need to get in touch with the casino. However, this is sometimes unresponsive, and the staff aren’t always a friendly and helpful, especially when compared to the live chat support agents that I’ve gotten used to at many of the other casinos that are featured in my top 25.
There’s a 48-72 hour pending period on withdrawals. This policy means that sometimes it can take forever to get your hands on your winnings. The pending period is common at online casinos, but it’s just really annoying. It’s as though the operator wants you to give up waiting, cancel your withdrawal and then spend the money in the casino.
No. At one time several years ago I may have recommended GoWild Casino, but I wouldn’t recommend visiting this casino today, at least until the operator fixes some of its issues and gets its shop in order. On the surface, it looks like a great online casino, but dig a little deeper, and you’ll soon start to find the issues.
Rather than signing up to a casino and then regretting it at a later date, why not play at one of my top 10 Canadian accepting online casinos instead, all of which are far better. GoWild is currently ranked at #30 on TopCasino, so this fact alone should set some alarm bells ringing. I also don’t see it climbing higher any time soon either.
